The first thing that you need to know about me is that I come from a big family.

It didn't start out that way, but that is the way it is now and I love it! Here I am with two of my nieces and my mom. Every day we are thankful for each other.

Second thing - I am extremely determined. For me, life has never been about having things, it's been about doing things. That's how a little country girl from Eldorado Springs was able to get the job of her dreams at age 26.

Next - I have a way of creating fun. Not fake fun. Authentic, memorable fun.

Fun that inspires people to be positive, take action and grow.

I started life in Boulder, CO as a writer of lyrics and poetry. After high school, I won a scholarship to the University of Colorado where I realized that I needed to be a good salesperson to get anywhere in life. My first management gig came at an all-natural fiber clothing boutique on Pearl St. Mall where I learned that talent is great, but accounting is a required life skill. My friends encouraged me to become a stylist when they saw that I could not only design window displays but makeup and hair as well. So I ventured on to 4th and Lincoln in Denver where I lived on the second floor with my broken wine glass collection and vintage Las Vegas silverware that I found at a garage sale. The adventure continued when I moved to San Francisco with $100 in my pocket, the help-wanted section of the San Francisco Chronicle, and directions to the nearest bus stop. Eventually, I got serious about education and survived four years of full-time work and school. I'll never forget FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) graduation day at Radio City Music Hall. As we threw our caps in the air, I knew that my time had come. I was finally a designer who had no idea that merchandising and marketing was going to be such a large part of my future.

Apparel design turned to graphic design when I had a family. As my children grew, I became a passionate educator, eager to pass on what I learned to future generations. Feeling lucky that I was trusted enough to create my own digital art and design program, I became an avid photographer, storyteller, and instructor. After taking on marketing communications at BIZ Appraisal Company, I accepted a position with Arrow Electronics, a leading technology distributor. Now I am looking for a position where I can make a positive impact by putting my valuable library of design, marketing, and visual communications skills to work for a company who is making a difference in their community.
